The Blossom Festival 2025 will run daily from Friday 12 September to Monday 29 September.

Visitors will experience the orchard in full bloom and enjoy a range of attractions including: Food vendors and market stalls, Free children’s activities, Teacup rides, Animal farm, Ferris wheel

The event operates daily from 9:00am to 4:00pm, offering a full day of family friendly entertainment and photo opportunities.

Weekly Farmers Market

Where: Central Mall, Kalamunda

Come along and talk to the farmers, producers and artisan food makers about their special family recipes, taste the samples on offer, and meet others with a passion for fresh and local produce that is just bursting with flavour and nutrition.

Night Sky Tours

Experience our amazing night sky through our wide range of telescopes. Our volunteers will take you on a grand tour of the most stunning objects in the Southern Hemisphere including nebulas, dying stars, enormous star clusters, and the Moon and the planets when they are in the sky.

Stirk Cottage

Visit Kalamunda’s first heritage listed cottage, with its distinct architecture, and household goods made from recycled materials. ​

This 1881 hand-built cottage was the family home of early Hills settlers Frederick and Elizabeth Stirk, and their nine children.

Beginner Mosaic Workshop

Saturday & Sundays - 14, 20, 21, 28 Sept, 4, 12 October

Where: Perth Mosaic, 47 Railway Road Kalamunda

This workshop is for the total beginner. There is no cutting of tiles, just gluing, all you have to do is choose a design. A bee bath is a simple bee water feeder in your home garden, and it is a nice touch to set out for your pollinating guests.

A bee bath has different levels to allow the bees to access the water so they can step down and drink without drowning. After all, without those busy workers in the garden, you wouldn't have as many beautiful flowers or fresh vegetables and fruit to harvest. In this 6 hour mosaic workshop, you will choose tiles to glue to a terracotta saucer that is 30cm in diameter.

Saturday & Sundays - 14, 20, 21, 28 Sept, 4, 12 Oct,There are many many tiles to choose from, all shapes, sizes and colours. Following the workshop, your pieces will need to dry overnight and then it must be grouted to ensure it is waterproof and ready for the garden. I will send you home with instructions and a grout pack.
